Exhaust Header Wrap works to keep internal heat and energy inside the header pipes and reduce radiant heat. Helps to protect engine bay wiring and components. Reduces heatsoak.
Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap has pulverized lava rock extruded into fibres and then woven into tight weaves. This is a premium thermal wrap, and is capable of withstanding 1200°C making it very suitable for turbo engines.

Coverage How much do I need?
15m length of 50mm wide wrap will conservatively cover the following length of pipe assuming 25-50% overlap:
50mm (2"): 2-3m
76mm (3"): 1.5-2m
101mm (4"): 1-1.5m
Installation
- Use correct PPE eg dust mask, saftey glasses and gloves.
- Do not wet when applying
- Clean and dry the pipes before applying the wrap
- Leave the sewn edge exposed and overlap the adjacent edge.
- Aim for a minimum of 25% overlap
- The wrap will smoke upon first start up
Pro Tips
- A temporary hose clamp can be used to maintain tension during installation
- Shoot for a tight wrap with the maximum tension possible
- Plan which direction to wrap. From collector to port gives a nice roof tile effect. Also consider whether to use clockwise or anticlockwise direction.
